Yourkit is a profiler for Java application with nice integration with most popular IDEs.

Installation

  1. Download YourKit from https://www.yourkit.com/java/profiler/download/
  2. Install YourKit
    For Linux, see Linux#Manualsoftwareinstallation
  3. Run the Yourkit Java Profiler.
    1. On LInux: Launch "YourKitDirectory/bin/profiler.sh" and accept license agreement
  4. Input the license key (found in 1Password).
  5. Select integration with your IDE. Supported IDEs include:
    • Eclipse
    • IntelliJ IDEA
    • JDeveloper
    • NetBeans

This license is only for use in non-commercial applications and by staff members of IHMC.  Please be courteous of the terms and conditions of the Academic licensing.
