Installation
There are generally three ways to install Eclipse:
- Manually from Eclipse Downloads
- Via a package manager (snapcraft, pacman, etc.)
- The Eclipse Installer
On Linux, it is recommended to install to /opt/eclipse . See Linux#Manualsoftwareinstallation.
